SERVICES FOR AIRPORT LOBBY AND PATIO
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA
This agreement made and entered into this first day
of September , 1971, by and between the CITY OF REDLANDS,
a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter
referred to as the "CITY", and Redlands Flight Service, Inc.
doing business as Redlands Flight Service, Inc. (Charles H
Ellsworth, Owner) hereinafter referred to as the "CONTRACTOR".
WITNESSETH:
In consideration of the sum of one hundred fifty dollars
($150.00) per month paid by the City to the Contractor the parties
hereto agree as follows:
Contractor agrees to furnish complete janitor service to the
airport lobby and patio at Redlands Municipal Airport, located at
Redlands, California, 6 days per week as follows,
(A) DAILY SERVICE
1. Empty waste baskets and other waste containers
2. Empty and clean ashtrays
3. Remove and deposit trash in designated containers
4. Dust mop all floors with treated mops
5. Dust lobby desks, chairs, tables, vending machines,
counters, and patio furniture
6. Hose down patio
7. Clean and sanitize restrooms and restroom fixtures
8. Refill soap, towel and tissue dispensers in
restrooms
9. Wet mop all restroom floors
10. Clean all drinking fountains
11. Clean sinks, pullman tops and mirrors
12. Clean glass in all entrance doors
13. Clean public counter tops
14. Clean and maintain janitor's closet in a clean
and orderly manner
15. Sweep all outside steps
16. Sweep sidewalk around building
17. Water landscaping as required
18. Clean public telephone booths
19. Keep all bulletin boards in order
(B) WEEKLY
1. Wet mop all floors
2. Machine polish all floors

3. Dust all mop boards
4. Clean hand marks off
and patio furniture
5. Wash all lobby glass
(C) EVERY --TWO WEEKS
woodwork, walls, and lobby
windows
1. Wax floors and take off heel marks
(D) MONTHLY
1. Dust high areas such as door casings, mouldings, etc.
(E) QUARTERLY
1. Clean plastic electric light covers in ceiling
2. Clean all lobby and patio furniture
3. Brush air-conditioning and heating vents
Contractor is to furnish all supplies and equipment necessary
to properly perform this service with the exception of restroom
supplies such as hand soap, hand towels, deodorants, toilet tissue,
paper towels, etc. All equipment, materials, and supplies are to be
of first class quality.
Contractor is to carry Public Liability and Property Damage
Insurance ($100,000/$300,000 and $100,000), including completed
Operations Liability coverage, for the entire airport lobby build-
ing and surrounding common passageways. Contractor is to furnish
City with certificates of insurance. Each of said certificates of
insurance must contain language providing that no cancellation of
the particular policy represented can be made without the insurance
company notifying City thirty (30) days prior to any such can-
cellation. Contractor is to carry Workman's Compensation insurance
as required by law.
Contractor shall commence performing service pursuant to this
Agreement on September 1 ,1971, and ending on August 31, 1972.
If performance is unsatisfactory, the City reserves the right to
cancel all or any portion of contract by giving thirty (30) days
written notice.
Monthly payments of $150.00, in arrears, shall be made to the
Contractor on or before the 15th day of each month beginning on
October, 1971 and each month thereafter for the term of the
agreement.

This agreement shall commence on September 1 , 1971, and
expire on August 31 , 1972.
The City shall have the option of extending this agreement
under the same terms and conitions, for a period of one (1) year
from the date of expiration thereof.
