AGREEMENT FOR FURNISHING REPRESENTATION AT
REDLANDS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA
Thi agreement made and entered into this ai ram' day
of , 1972, by and between the CITY OF REDLANDS,
a munic' 1 rporation of the State of California, hereinafter
referred o as the "CITY", and Charles H. Ellsworth, 3548 21st
Street, Highland, California, hereinafter referred to as the
"CONTRACTOR".
WITNESSETH:
In consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
($150.00) per month paid by the City to the Contractor the parties
hereto agree as follows:
Contractor agrees to act in the capacity of City of Redlands
Airport Representative at Redlands Municipal Airport, located at
Redlands, California, and furnish the following services in that
capacity:
1. Be available or on call at Redlands Municipal Airport,
during normal airport operating hours, to answer in-
quiries on airport operations and policy.
2. Generally observe airport traffic, both air and ground,
advising any violators of proper procedures.
3. Contact Director of Aviation, City of Redlands, in all
cases where further direction is needed.
4. Inspect runway, taxiway, airport lighting facilities
and city -owned tie -downs weekly. Perform minor main-
tenance on these items as required. Recommend to
Director of Aviation any major corrections or maintenance
needed.
5. Inspect daily the public lobby and restrooms for clean-
liness; check condition of lobby furniture and operation
and condition of vending machines. Take corrective
action necessary.
6. Attend all Airport Advisory Board meetings.
7. Recommend desirable Airport Capital Improvements to the
Director of Aviation.

8. Develop, for approval of the Director of Aviation, an
Airport Crash and Rescue and Disaster Control Plan for
Redlands Municipal Airport; administer the execution of
the approved plan, should a situation arise at the air-
port requiring that the plan be implemented.
9. In addition, it is specified that the position of
Airport Representative entails no policy making duties
in regards to airport operations. Matters such as the
leasing of airport land, etc., shall be handled by the
Office of the Director of Aviation, as approved by the
Redlands City Council.
Contractor is to carry Automobile Liability Insurance
($100/300,000) and Property Damage Insurance ($100,000). Con-
tractor is to furnish City with certificates of insurance. Each
of said certificates of insurance must contain language providing
that no cancellation or reduction in amount of the particular
policy represented can be made without the insurance company
notifying City thirty (30) days prior to any such cancellation.
The City of Redlands must be named as an additional insured.
Contractor shall co ence performing representation pursuant
to this Agreement on Z, 1972, and continue until
this Agreement is cance e .
The City and the Contractor both have the right to cancel
this Agreement by giving thirty (30) days written notice to the
other.
Monthly payments of $150.00, in arrears, shall be made to
the Contractor on or before the 15th day of each month for the
life of the Agreement. Payments for less than one (1) months
representation shall be pro -rated.
