A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING PRE -ANNEXATION AGREEMENT NO 19-01 RELATING TO
OUTSIDE CITY WATER UTILITY CONNECTION FOR THE IRRIGATION
OF PRESERVED OPEN SPACE LOCATED AT 5TH AVENUE AND SAN
CANYON ROAD AND EAST OF CRAFTON AVENUE IN THE
UNINCORPORATED AREA OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO
WHEREAS, on April 10, 2019, Dangerinond Park Foundation filed an application foi
Outside City Case No 19-01 with the City of Redlands for outside City utility connections for
the irrigation of preserved open space (APN(s) 299-301-01-0000, 299-301-03-0000, 299-301-
06-0000, 299-301-07-0000, 299-301-09-0000, 299-301-10-0000, 299-301-11-0000 and 299-301-
12-0000 generally located south of 5th Avenue/San Canyon Road and east of Crafion Avenue m
the unincorporated area of the County of San Bernardino, and
WHEREAS, on June 18, 2019, the City Council found that Outside City Case No 19-01
was consistent with the City of Redlands General Plan and the public health, safety, welfare and
best interests of the citizens of Redlands are served by the City's contmued processing of the
Outside City Case application and directed staff to prepare a Pre -Annexation Agreement,
WHEREAS, the proposed project's land use designation in the 2035 General Plan is Very
Low Density Residential (0-2 7 units per gross acre), Low Density Residential (up to 6 units per
gross acre), and Parks/Golf Courses, and the proposal for use as Open Space remains consistent
with the 2035 General Plan land use designation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 The City Council determine the proposed project is not subject to review
under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines
Section 15061(b)(3) because the City has determined there is no possibility the proposed project
will result m any environmental effect
Section 2 The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby approves Pre -Annexation
No 19-01 for the provision of water service for the irrigation of preserved open space (county of
san Bernardino APNs 299-301-01-0000, 299-301-03-0000, 299-301-06-0000, 299-301-07-0000,
299-301-09-0000, 299-301-10-0000, 299-301-11-0000 and 299-301-12-0000 m the
unincorporated area of the County of San Bernardino
