AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX DEEDED LAND
THIS AGREEMENT, made on the _._ ��, day of
19 iY , by and between. the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
Bernardino, State of California, and the Board of Supervisors_ of the San
Bernardino County Flood Control District, pursuant to the provisions of
Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
W I T iv E S S E T H
WHEREAS, the real property situated within the County of San, Bernardino,
State of California hereinafter set forth in Exhibit "A", attached to and
made a part hereof, has been deeded to the State of California for the
non-payment of delinquent taxes; and
WHEREAS, such deed to the State for taxes includes taxes levied by
the San Bernardino County flood Control District, the taxes of which on
the property are collected by the County Officers;
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code,
the cost of giving notice of this agreement shall bq paid by the San
Bernardino County Flood Control District.
2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino
agrees to sell to said San Bernardino County Flood _Control District and
said San Bernardino County Flood Control_ District agrees to purchase from
said County the parcel(s) of property hereinafter set out in Exhibit "Q",
attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall not have been redeemed
as provided in the Revenue and Taxation Code, upon payment by said District
to the Tax Collector of said County the sum set forth in said exhibit after the
description of the property and designated 'Purchase Price", within. 45 days after

this agreement becomes effective,
3. That said San Bernardino County Flood Control District will
(not) share in the distribution of the payment required by this agreement.
IN WITNESS WIiEREOF, the parties hereto have caused their respective
names to be hereunto subscribed and their respective seals to be hereto
affixed by their respective officers thereunto duly authorized.

WHERrAS, by action taken by the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino
County, State of California, the Tax Collector of said County has been authorized
to sell certain tax -deed property at public auction; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of said County and the Board of Supervisors
of the San Bernardino County blood Control District, State of California? have
duly entered into an agreement for the sale.of certain of those tax --deeded lands
to said District for the public uses of flood control- and grater conservation,
which agreement is pursuant to the Revenue and Taxation Code of said State;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that, pursuant to said Code, the San Bernardino
County Flood Control District, based upon the premises that the hereinafter des-
cribed parcels of property are needed for the aforesaid public uses, hereby snakes
form4l objection to the public sale of that real property described as follows:

Acting on recommendation of Flood Control Engineer W. A. Sidler, on
motion of Supervisor Smith, duly seconded by Supervisor Mayfield,
and carried, the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County
hereby approves the Agreement to Purchase Tax Deeded Land dated
December 18, 1972, by and between the County of San Bernardino and
the San Bernardino County Flood Control District, and Cities of
Montclair and Redlands, providing for acquisition of parcels in
Zones 1, 3, 4 and 6, San Antonio Channelp et al.
By the same motion", the Board authorizes its Chairman to sign
said agreement on behalf of the County, indicating this Board's
acceptance of the terms and conditions therein contained.
