ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES
FOR CALIFORNIA STREET LANDFILL
VERTICAL EXPANSION
AMENDMENT NO. 3
This Amendment No.3 authorizes Tom Dodson&Associates,(hereinafter"Consultant")to perform
services included in this Amendment and in accordance with the AGREEMENT dated the 7th day
of January,1997,for the Vertical Expansion Project for California Street Landfill,and the horizontal
expansion of the borrow site.
This amendment dated February 16, 1999, makes the following changes to the AGREEMENT;all
other provisions of the AGREEMENT remain in effect.
ARTICLE I -ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANT
No Changes
ARTICLE 2-SERVICES OF Consultant
2.1 The Scope of Work is amended to include Attachment A,to this Amendment which
defines the Scope of Work for Consulting services.
ARTICLE 3 -RESPONSIBILITIES OF CITY
No Changes
ARTICLE 4-PERIOD OF SERVICE
4.1 The schedule for the services included in this Amendment shall be performed in
accordance with the schedule set forth in Attachment B.
ARTICLE 5-PAYMENTS TO THE Consultant
5.1 The total compensation to perform work under this Amendment shall be in
accordance with Attachment C to this Amendment.
ARTICLE 6 -INSURANCE AND INDEMNIFICATION
No changes.

No changes.

The City of Redlands is preparing a Joint Technical Document(JTD)that includes a Revised Final Grading ,.^ .r
Plan for the California Street Landfill(CSL)which will be submitted to the Local Enforcement Agency(LEA).
Submittal of the JTD is required by Title 27 due to the revisions proposed at the CSL by the revised grading
plan.
1. Meet with City staff and its consultants to review the Revised Final Grading Plan and
the JTD.
2. Assist the City to determine if the proposed revisions at the CSL will require
amendment to the existing Conditional Use Permit for the CSL.
3. Assist the City in preparing a submittal package to the LEA including a determination
on whether or not the proposed revisions will result in a need to amend the CSL's
SWFP and whether the revisions should"trigger"evaluation under CEQA.
4. TDA will assist the City with processing of the JTD and Revised Final Grading Plan
with the LEA.

Schedule
Completion date for Tasks 1,2,and 3 will be within 2 weeks ofTDA's receipt of the JDT and Revised Final
Grading Plan. Estimated completion date for Tasks 1, 2,and 3 is mid-February 199.
Completion date for Task 4 will be dependant on the availability and schedule of the LEA.

The above is a breakdown of the estimated fees per tasks. Actual costs per task may vary depending on the
work effort required. The total fee will not be exceeded without written authorization from the Cite of
Redlands.
