HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_4-1977 MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT This Agreement between THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS (hereinafter referred to as "Board") , and THE CITY OF REDLANDS (hereinafter referred to as "Redlands") , is entered into for the purpose of establishing reciprocal mutual aid commitments in the event of natural disaster, or other emergencies occurring within the respective service area of each agency. It is agreed that: 1 . In the event of any natural disaster or emergency, such as earthquake, fire, flood, or civil disorder, the BOARD and REDLANDS will cooperate to the greatest extent possible in providing mutual assistance necessary to maintain water system operations within each agency. 2. The BOARD and REDLANDS will exchange complete listings of equipment and materials that could be made available for emergency use Each agency will also submit the name, address, and telephone number of the individual (s) authorized to release equipment and materials for mutual assistance It is further understood and agreed by the BOARD and REDLANDS that the repair, maintenance, and operation of each agency's own water system shall take precedence over the provisions of this Agreement, CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CITY OF REDLANDS BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS -� BY� J gy, Presi ent /n e> BY: 6.12 /1 ecretary ayQe_r NEW BUSINESS Resolution No 3325, a resolution of the City of Resolution Redlands declaring intention to vacate a portion of No. 3325 New York Street and setting the public hearing on Street this vacation for March 1, 1977, was unanimously Vacation adopted on motion of Councilwoman Grace, seconded by Councilman Knudsen. Resolution No 3326, a resolution requesting that Resolution the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors adopt No 3326 a method of allocating funds from the 1976 State Recreation- Recreational Bond Act in accordance with population al Bond Act distribution, was unanimously adopted on motion of Funds Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Councilman Miller Ordinance No . 1602, an ordinance of the City of Ordinance Redlands amending Ordinance No. 1418 which established No 1602 rules and regulations for the granting of franchises Ambulance for operation of emergency vehicles , was given first Franchise reading of the title with second reading set for March 1, 1977 . This is a budgeted item. Claim On motion of Councilman Knudsen, seconded by Council- man Miller, a claim for vehicle accident was rejected in routine manner and referred to the City' s insurance carrier The City Clerk announced that Miss Lorrie Poyzer has Appointment been appointed Deputy City Clerk effective this date Deputy Council congratulated Miss Poyzer and welcomed Mike City Clerk Murphy to the meeting. Mike replaces Pat Sheeran who received good wishes for his future assignment.
