THIS AGREEMENT by and between the City of Redlands, Calitornia,
herein referred to as "City" and Mr. Frank R. Maloney, also
referred to as "Consultant" is dated this 27th day of June, 1977.
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein,
the City agrees as follows:
i. To engage the Consultant under contract with the City as the
Director of the Joslyn Senior Center to formulate and conduct
a comprehensive senior program which will include recreational,
educational, cultural and social services.
2. To compensate Consultant for such service at the rate of $880
per month, payable $440 semi --monthly. This rate based upon
an average thirty hour week. It is anticipated that work load
may vary, Consultant agrees to work the hours necessary to
accomplish the contracted service and assure the presence of
at least one paid staff member on'duty at all scheduledhours
of operation at the Center.
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein,
the Consultant agrees as follows:
A. To diligently and promptly pertorm services as Director under
the direct supervision of the Director of Recreation.
B. To be compensated for such services as enumerated above.
C. To pertorm said services during the hours enumerated in para-
graph 2 above and/or other reasonable hours as directed by
the Director of Recreation.
The parties hereto agree that employment will begin on June 27,
1977 and terminate on June 26, 1978. Further, employment may be
terminated by either party upon giving thirty (30) days notice,
in citing, or any time by mutual agreement of the parties in
