(Covenant Running With The Land)
THIS COVENANT, dated the 31st day of October , 19 77 ,
is made and entered by and between THE CITY OF REDLANDS, hereinafter
called 1°CITY" and Jennie Rienks
hereinafter called "OWNER" as a covenant Running With The Land.
Recitals
1. Owner owns the real property situate in the County of San
Bernardino, State of California, described on Exhibit A attached hereto,
and incorporated as a part of this covenant, and hereinafter referred
to as "propertyi1.
2. Owner desires to obtain a domestic family dwelling water/sewer
connection to the Redlands Domestic Water System/Sewerage System.
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the covenant contained herein the City
and the Owner agree as follows:
1. That Owner may make a connection to the Redlands Domestic
Water System/Sewerage System for a domestic family dwelling subject to
the terms, conditions, and requirements of all ordinances, resolutions,
rules, and rates adopted by the City, and performance by Owner of the
covenants herein.
2. That Owner shall annex property to the City of Redlands no
later than 120 days after the City wakes a written request for such
annexation by personal delivery to Owner or by registered Letter,
deposited at a United States Post Office, bearing the following address:

Address: Route 2, Box 460, Orange Ave., Redlands, CA
3. That Owner shall, be charged and pay twice the water/sewer
rates established by City ordinance or resolution for service to
properties situate outside City upon Owner's failure to consent to
annexation of property no later than 120 days after the request to do
so. The rates which shall be doubled in the event of Owner's refusal

to annex shall be the outside rates in effect on the 121st day after
the City's request for annexation.
4. That this covenant shall be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino County, a covenant running with
the land described herein, which covenant shall obligate and be
binding upon Owner, his assigns, transferees, executors, trustees,
and every other successor in interest.

a second party, all of the real property situate in the
unty of San Bernardino State of California, described as follows:
The East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Lot 16, BARTON RANCH,
as per plat recorded in Book 6 of Maps, page 19, records of
said County.
Areas and distances are computed to the center of all
adjoining streets and roads as shown on said Map.
This conveyance is made pursuant to the powers conferred upon the trustee in the deed of trust from
Carey P . Stodkton and DOROTHY Stockton and Doug Van Howd as tirustor
to Western Title Insurance Company, a corporation as trustee
acid Peter Rienks and Jennie Rienks, husband and wife, as joint beneficiary
datbd July 25, , 19 76and recorded 2on 8-24 tenantg19"72 in
fhe! office of the County Recorder of the County of San Bernardino State of California,
in Book 8006 of Official Records, page 505 , and after the fulfillment of the conditions specified
in said deed o' trust authorizing this conveyance as follows:
(a) Default was made in the obligations for which such deed of trust Nvas given as security and notice of de-
fault was recorded in the office of the County Recorder of each county in which the property described in said deed
J of trust, or any part thereof, is situated, the mature of such default being as set forth in said notice of default.
Such default still existed at the time of sale.
(b) Not less than three months elapsed between the recordation of said notice of default and the posting and
first publication of the notice of sale of said property.
(c) The beneficiary made due and proper demand upon the said trustee to sell said property pursuant to the
terms of said deed of trust.
(�) Said trt1s0e gave notice of the time And place.of the sale of said property in accordance, with the laws of

(e) All requirements of law regarding the mailing, publication and personal delivery of copies of the notice
of default, and of all other notices have been complied with.
(f) Said property wa,s sold by said trustee at public auction on April. 2.3 , 1976 in the
Said County of San Bernardino in which said property is situated, in full accordance
with the laws of the State of California, and the terms of said deed of trust. Said second party, being the highest
bidder a.t steh salt, became the purchase{ of said property and paid therefor to said trustee the amount bid, being
$ 30 50273 , in lawful money of the United States.
