WITH BOY SCOUT TROOP NO. 10 COMMITTEES
THIS AGREEMENT, executed on this 21st day of November, 1978, by and between
the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation, and the undersigned representatives
of Troop No. 10 Committee of the Redlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America,
provides for the lease of premises for Boy Scout recreational purposes.
WITNESSETH: 1. That the City of Redlands, for a valuable consideration,
does hereby lease and rent to Troop No. 10 Committee of the Redlands Boy Scout
Council, hereinafter called "Scouts", that certain tract, consisting of five acres,
located on the east side of Amethyst Avenue, Mentone, California.
2. That the term of this lease shall be five (5) years, beginning on the 21st
day of November, 1978.
3. That it is agreed that the Scouts may remove any improvements placed on
said property, prior to the expiration of the term hereof.
4. That the City may terminate this lease rental agreement by giving thirty
days written notice, delivered to any of the undersigned, if in the opinion of the
City Council the herein leased property is needed or required at any time for
municipal purposes.
5. This lease shall become null and void in the event that the property is
used for any profit making enterprise or use other than Boy Scout activities without
obtaining written approval of the City.
6. The premises subject to such lease include the real property situate in
the County of San Bernardino, described as follows:
P.O.B. S 50 E, 391 ft. from the NE Cor. Lot 4, Blk 20, Stretch's map,
Mentone, San Bernardino County, California, PTN: thence East 466 ft.;
thence South 466 ft.; thence West 466 ft.; thence North 466 ft. to P.O.B.
7. This lease may be extended or modified upon approval of both parties.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Redlands has caused its corporate name to
be subscribed by the Mayor and the City Cleric and its corporate seal to be attached
pursuant to a duly authorized and enacted resolution on this matter adopted by the
City Council, and that the representatives of said Troop No. 10 Commi-ttee have
hereunto pi aced their hand.

The City Clerk was authorized by AYE votes of all pre-
sent to advertise for bids for paving materials for

Council approved an additional appropriation in the
Funds amount of $928.84 to pay for overtime and meals for
employees of the Police Department who provided extra
Police security at Ford Park on November 5, 1978, on motion
