The purpose of this letter is to formally notify you of the County of San Bernardino's intention to
exercise the first of three one-year options to extend the term of the )ease from June 8, 2007
through June 7, 2008. The lease was approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 8, 2004.

IT IS HEREBY AGREED TO AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the COUNTY and LANDLORD's previously entered into a Lease Agreement, Contract No.
04-484, (the "Lease") wherein LANDLORD agreed to lease certain real property to the COUNTY, and;
WHEREAS, the COUNTY desires to exercise two one-year options to extend the term of the lease for two
years until June 7, 2009, with a one one—year option remaining.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions, the parties hereto agree the
Lease Agreement, Contract No. 04-484, is amended as follows:
1. EXTEND the term of the lease as provided in Article 1, TERM, from June 8, 2007 through June 7,
2009 (First Extended Term).

2. All other provisions and terms of the Lease Agreement, Contract No. 04-484, as previously
amended, shall remain the same and are hereby incorporated by reference.
