May 3, 1999 Ms. Margie Pettus, Community Services Div. Manager Redlands Police Department 212 Brookside Ave. Redlands, CA 92373 Dear Ms. Pettus: It is once again that time of the year when agencies are formulating budgets for the coming fiscal year. This year we had to delay our pricing until we could digest the effect of the most recent increase in our Workers' Compensation Insurance premium. As a result, we must appeal for a modest increase in our billing rate. We are proposing a 5.7% increase which adjusts our billing rate to $10.79 per hour for the 1999-2000 school year. Our goal has always been to improve the quality of our service while maintaining the efficiency of our operations and subsequent costs. In spite of this most recent setback we anticipate stable pricing for the next couple of years. Should our pricing be acceptable we have taken the liberty of enclosing two (2) partially executed amendments to our contract. After the necessary signature(s) have been affixed, please send us a copy for our records. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (800) 540-9290.
