BACKGROUND: As a condition of approval for 918 Lawton Street, the owner is required to provide a 2.5 foot roadway and a 2.5 foot alley (easement) dedication along the front and back of the property. The property owners are Justin Francis Alan Tribitt and Tamara Jean Tribitt, as co -Trustees of the Tribitt Family Revocable Trust, U/A dated December 27, 2017.1 The subject property is located on the east side of Lawton Street between Union Avenue and Sun Avenue, in the City of Redlands. Justin Francis Alan Tribitt and Tamara Jean Tribitt have requested the certificates of acceptance from the City (see attached originals). The form of the easement document was reviewed by the City Attorney and is deemed acceptable. The legal description was reviewed by the MUED engineering staff and is also deemed acceptable. The San Bernardino County Recorder requires all easements offered to a public agency to have a Certificate of Acceptance executed by a representative of the agency. The City Manager is authorized to accept the Road Easement on behalf of the City per Council Resolution No. 6756 approved on September 3, 2008.
