WILDLAND FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT NO. 2
FISCAL YEAR 1992-1993
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION
An amendment for fiscal year 1992-1993 to the Agreement
dated September 18 , 1990, by and between the State of California,
Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the City of
Redlands for wildland fire protection of certain lands in the
City designated as State Responsibility Areas is presented to the
City Council of the City of Redlands on the 1st day of September,
1992, and it appearing to the City Council that said amendment
has been approved by the City Attorney as to form and legality,
upon motion of Councilmember Larson, seconded by Councilmember
Cunningham, and duly carried, it is ordered and directed that
said amendment for services identifying the cost rates beginning
September 18, 1992, is hereby approved., that the Mayor of the
City of Redlands is authorized to sign said amendment for and on
behalf of the City of Redlands, and the City Clerk attest the
same and affix thereto the official seal of the City of Redlands.

Dear Mayor DeMirjyn:
The State proposes to amend the original contract entered
into September 18 , 1990 wherein the State provides wildland fire
protection within the City of Redlands. This amendment estimates
cost of service for 4, 480 acres at $6 . 00 per acre and an 11 . 13%
administrative fee for a total of $29, 872 during 1992-93 fiscal
year. If this is acceptable to the City of Redlands, please sign
below and include proper documentation (council resolution and
signature authority for the amendment) .
This contract is conditional upon appropriation and
availability of funds for purposes of this contract. In the event
such funds are not sufficient in the budget act for the fiscal
year concerned, or are insufficient to carry out the purpose of
this contract, each party agrees to release the other from all
obligations.
All other conditions of the original contract remain in full
force and effect.
