SPECIAL COVENANTS OR REMARKS
1. The cost of maintenance of the crossing shall be as allocated by
Public Utilities Commission.
2 . All required pavement marking and advance warning signs shall
cOmform to the requirements of MUTCD, 1988 and shall be placed in
their proper location by the Local Agency at the time of
completion of the Railroad' s work.
3. The Local Agency agrees the payment of Federal funds will be
limited to the amounts approved by the Federal Highway
Administration in the Federal-Aid Project Agreement (PR-2} /Detail
Estimate, Or its modification (PR-2A) or the FNM-76, and accepts
any increases in Local Agency Funds as shown on the Finance or
Bid Letter or its modification as prepared by the Office of Local
Programs Project Implementation.
4 . Federal funding levels are shown for information only.
Federal and Local funds shall be paid to the railroad or
contractor by the State according to the terms described in the
Service Contract between the railroad or contractor and the
state.
The Local Agency share of funding shall be due and payable upon
receipt by the State of an approved invoice from the Railroad.
5 Whenever the local agency uses a consultant on a cost plus basis,
the local agency is required to submit a post audit report
covering the allowability of cost payments for each individual
consultant or sub-contractor incurring over $25,000 on the
Project. The audit report must state the applicable cost
principles utilized by the auditor in determining allowable costs
as referenced in CFR 49, part 18, Subpart C 22, Allowable
Costs.

RESOLUTION NO. 5568
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS TO
ACT FOR AND ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY IN THE EXECUTION OF PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENT NO, M001 OF THE ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE
AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL AID PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, on May 5, 1997, the City Council of the City of Redlands approved the
Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 08-5083 between the City of Redlands and the
State of California for Federal Projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, California desires to apply for funding of 90 percent of
the cost of constructing the railroad crossing improvements at the crossing of Southern
California Regional Rail Authority tracks at California Street.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor of the City of Redlands is hereby authorized, effective
November 3, 1998, to act for and on behalf of the City of Redlands in execution of Program
Supplement No. M001 of the Administering Agency-State Master Agreement for Federal
Aid Projects.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 3RD DAY OF NOVEMBER. 1998
