HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_123-2007_CCv0001.pdf AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND REDLANDS ASSOCIATION OF MID-MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES This Amendment No. 2 to the Memorandum of Understanding dated October 5, 2004 by and between City of Redlands ("City") and Redlands Association of Mid- Management Employees ("RAMME") is made and entered into this 17`x' day of July, 2007. RECITALS Whereas, the City and RAMME have met and conferred in good faith, in accordance with law, regarding an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redlands and Redlands Association of Mid-Management Employees; and Whereas, it is the desire of City and RAMME to amend Article 17 (Executive Leave) of their existing Memorandum of Understanding dated October 5, 2004; Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, and for such other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the City and RAMME agree as follows: Section 1. Article 17 of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City and RAMME, dated October 5, 2004, is hereby amended and shall read as follows: "ARTICLE 17 EXECUTIVE LEAVE Unit employees shall receive Executive Leave in the amount of one hundred hours (100) per year. On January I of each calendar year, each full-time Unit employee shall be credited with one hundred (100) hours of executive leave. Unit employees hired between July 1 and October 31 of any calendar year shall be credited with fifty (50) hours of executive leave for that year, and Unit employees hired between November 1 and December 31 will not be credited with executive leave for that year. Executive leave shall be used within the calendar year or it will be removed from the books as of December 31` " DJM\Agree\Amendment#2 to RAMME MOU 1 Section 2. Except as modified herein, all the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redlands and Redlands Association of Mid- Management Employees, dated October 5, 2004, shall remain in full force and effect. In witness whereof, the Parties have executed this agreement, to be effective this 17th day of July, 2007. PRESENT Jon Harrison, Mayor Pat Gilbreath, Mayor Pro Tem Gilberto Gil, Councilmember Mick Gallagher, Councilmember Pete Aguilar, Councilmember ABSENT None STAFF N. Enrique Martinez, City Manager; Daniel J. McHugh, City Attorney; Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk; Cletus Hyrnan, Deputy Police Chief; Jim Drabinski, Fire Chief; Steven H. Dukett, Interim Redevelopment Agency Director; Tina Kundig, Finance Director and Acting Administrative Services Director; Ronald C. Mutter, Public Works Director; Gary G. Phelps, Municipal Utilities Director; and Bob Dalquest, Acting Community Development Director The meeting was opened with an invocation by Councilmember Gallagher followed by the pledge of allegiance. CONSENT CALENDAR Minutes - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil, the minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of July 3, 2007, and the regular meeting of July 3, 2007, were approved as submitted. Bills and Salaries - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil, payment of salaries and bills was acknowledged. RAMME MOU Amendment - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil, the City Council unanimously approved Amendment No. 2 to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Redlands Association of Mid-Management Employees to correct a clerical error in Article 17, Executive Leave, and authorized the Mayor to execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, the document on behalf of the City. Agreement - Infrastructure Update Services - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil, the City Council unanimously approved an agreement for infrastructure update services with CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory, LLC and authorized the Mayor to execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, the document on behalf of the City. July 17,2007
