RE: Permission to End Summer Food Service Program Agreement
Dear Mr. Jaffe,
Thank you very much for your recent letter of reference supporting the ]CAN Summer
Food Service Program that we sponsored during the summer of 2014 for the City of Redlands
and in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of Redlands.
The SFSP was very successful and thank you for your leadership and special thanks to
Conrad Calbes for his great work in coordinating the program on behalf of the City of Redlands
Recreation Division.
As you know we were unable to continue our meal service program to you during the
2014-2015 school years. Therefore our agreement to continue the program through May 20,
2017 is no longer valid. The City of Redlands and the Center for Educational Leadership are no
longer contractually obligated under the terms.
However, please feel free to contact us next year to assess if you would like our support
in sponsoring another Summer Food Service Program for the summer of 2015. It would be our
pleasure to do so,
Again, thank you for the opportunity to service the youth of the City of Redlands with
nutritional meals. We look forward to working with you in the future.
