ories of Arizona and New Mexico, the party of the first part,
and the CI`l`Y OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation of the State
of California, the party of the second part,
W I T N F S S R T H:
That for and in consideration of the suns
of one dollar, lawful honey of the United States of America,
paid by the party of the second part to the party of the first
part, the receipt wheraof is hereby acknowledged, the party of
the first part has granted, bai•gai iced, sold and conveyed, and
by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the
party of the second part, for use as a public street, and for
no other purpose, the following described strip or parcel of
land, situate in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino
State of California, to wit: -
A tract of land is Block "E" of the Fairbanks & Wil-
son Subdivision, according to reap of said Subdivision of
record in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino
County, and in Lot 27 of Block 77 of Rancho San Bernardino,
more particularly described as follows:
Coi..unencing at the. norti-ieast coiner of Lot 5 of Block
"E" of said Fairbanks & Nilson Subdivis;ion;runaing thence
south along the east line of said Lot 51 15 feet; thence at
rigntangles westerly 866 feet, more yr less, to the easterly
line of the Barton Ranch, so called; thence: at ripht�nglas
northerly 30 feet; thence at rightangles easterly 565 feet,
more oi, less, to the westerly line of Lot 11, Block "E" of said

This conveyance is nevertheless made upon condition

shall not, at any time, without the consent'in writing of the
party of the first part, its successors or assigns, first had
and obtained, use the preiaises aforesaid, or any part thereof,
for street railroad or other railroad purposes, or gz ant "to any
iperson or corporation, the right to lay down, Raaintain or oger-

the breach of either or any of the foregoing conditions, all of
the estate rights and privileges hereby granted shall ipso

COMPANY, a corporation, organised and existing under the laws
Of the State of Kentucky, the party of the first part, and the
CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation of the State of
California, the party of the second part,
W I T N E S S E T H:
That for arldin consideration of the sum of
one dollar, lawful i,,oney of the United States of America, paid
by the party of the second part to the party of the first part,.
the receipt whereof is hereby ac'=�nowl arlg;ed, the party of the
first part has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by
these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the
party of the second part, for use as a public street, and for
no other purpose, the following described strip or parcel of
land situate in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, to -;pit:
A strip of land 15 feet wide off the northerly por-
lion of Lots 1, 29 32 and 4 of Block "E" of the Fairbanks &
Wilson Subdivision, according to map of said Subdivision of
record in the office of the County Recorder of said county,
particularly describers as follows:
Cormencing at the northeast corner of Lot No. 1 Block
"E" of said Subdivision; running thence south along the
easterly Zinc of Lot No. 11 15 feet; thence at a right angle
westerly 195 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of Let
No. 4 of said Block "E"; thence at a right angle northerly 15

feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 4; thence easterly
195 feet, more or less, to point of beginning.
TOGETHER with all and singular the tenements, here-
ditaments- and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
