1 RESOLVED, By the Board of Directors of the California
2 Stone and Gravel Company, that the President and Secretary of
3 this corporation be and they are hereby authorized and directed
4 in the name, under the seal and on behalf of this corporation,
5 to convey, assign and transfer unto tre City of Rledlands, a
6 municipal corporation, the real -property hereinafter described,
7 and to execute all papers ,wrhich are or may be necessary or pros,
8 er to fully carry out and complete such transfer. Said real
9 estate is situated in the County of San Bernardino, State of Cal-
10 ifornia, and is particularly described as follows:--
11 The crest one --half of the southwest one quarter of section
12 seven ( 7) , township one ( 1) south, range two ( 2) west, San De'r
13 nardino Base and Meridian.
14 I certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted
15 ar a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the California
16 Stone and Gravel company, held at the office of said company, on
17 'the first day of February, 1906, at the hour of ten O'clock in
18 the forenoon; that said meeting was duly called, that each of
19 the directors of said company had due and legal notice of the
20 time and place of said meeting, and that all the directors of said
21 Board of Directors, were present and voted at said meeting.
22 That I was at the time of said Meeting and am now the duly
23 elected and acting secretary of said corporation.

THIS INDENTURE , made this lot day of February , 1906, by and between the
California Stone and Gravel Company , a corporation having its pricipal
Place of business at Redlands, California , the party of the first part,
and the City of Redlands , a municipal corporation of the State of Cali-
fornia , the party of the second part, witnesseth :--
For and in consideration of the sure of ten dollars paid by the party
of the second part to the party of the first part , the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged , the said party of the first part does hereby
grant, remise , release and forever quitclaim unto the said party of the
second part , its successors and assigns , all its right , title and in-
terest in and to all that real pr perty situate in the county of San Ber-
nardino, State of California , particularly described as follows, to wit: --
The blest one half of the South -crest one quarter of Section Seven (7 )
'Township One (1) South , Lange Two ( 2) West , San Bernardino Base and
Meridian .
Subject to taxes not a lien on said property
In witness whereof the said party of the first part , by resolution of
its Board of Directors , hath caused these presents to be subscribed by
its president and secretary , and its corporate name and seal to be here-
unto affixed the day and year first above written
