Redlands, that the president and secretary of this company be and they
are hereby authorized and directed, in the nante, under the seal, and
on behalf of this corporation, to grant unto the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation, the real property hereinafter described, and'to
execute all papers or deeds which may be necessary or proper to carry
out and co:iiplete the transfer of said preperty.
Said real property is situate in the City of Redlands, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, and is bounded and described as
follow , tolwit;
Commencing; at the South,jresterly corner of Lot Seven (7), in
Block "J" of the SECO D PRELLMINARY 1101 OF REDLANDS; thence Easterly
along the Southerly line of said Lot 7, 36.36 fret, to a point; thence
Northwesterly 610 feet, to a point in the South lime of Cypress Avenue,
distant 32.72 feet Easterly from the lbsterly line of -'said Lot, 7; thence
Southwesterly 32.72 feet along the South line of Cypress Avenue, to the
West line of said Lot 7; thence Southeasterly along the Westerly line of
said Lot 7, to the point of beginning, containing .472 acres, more or
less.
I hereby certify that a ragular meeting of the Board of Di-
rectors of the Home Investment, Coi:npany of Redlands, was held at, the office
of the corporation in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, on the 1st day of August, 1907, at the hour of 2,
P. tali.; that said meeting was 01 T called in accordance with the By -Laws of
said Company; that each of the Directors of said Company had due notice of
the meeting, and that, a quorum of said Board of Directors was present
and acting at said meeting;
That, at, said meeting, the ahove resolution was adopted by the
unanimous vote of all the Directors present;
That I was, at the time, and am now, the Secretary of said
Corporation.

THIS I14DENTURE, made this f irst day of August, 1907,
by and between the Horne Investment, Company of Redlands, a
corporation, dlzly organized under the laws of California,
whose principal- place of businees is in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, party of the
first, part, and the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation,
. party of the second part; - --
WITNESSETH : That the said party of the first part,
for and in consideration of the sun of Ten Dollars ($10.00),
and other valuable considerations, to it paid by the party of
the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
does, by these presents, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and
confirm unto the said party of Lhe second part, all that
certain real property situate in the City of Redlands, County
of San Bernardino, State of California, and bounded and
described as follows; to -wit;
Cow -fencing at the Southwesterly corner of Lot Seven,
in Block "J"
