Redlands , that the president and secretary of this company be and they
are hereby authorized and directed , in the name,, under the seal and
on behalf of this corporation , to grant unto the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation , the real property hereinafter described , and to
execute all papers or deeds which may be necessary or proper to carry
out an? complete the transfer of said property
Said real property is situate in the City of Redlands , Oounty of
San Bernardino, State of California , and is bounded and described as
follows, to grit :-
Beginni -g at the North-westerly corner of :got two (2) , in ' Block "I"
of the SECOYD PRELIMINARY MAP Or REDLA?IDS , thence easterly along the
northerly line of said lot 2 , 28.48 feet thence south-sonloply 610
feet to a point in the north line of Cypress Avenue jistant 32.12 feet
easterly from the westerly line of said lot 2 ; thence westerly along
the northerly line of Cypress Avenue to the westerly line of said Lot 2;
thence north-resterly along the westerly line of said Lot 2 to the point
of beginning , containing .42 acres
I hereby certify that a regular meeting of the Board of Directors
of the Home Investment Company of Redlands , was held at the office of
the corporation in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State
of California. , on the 1st day of August, 1907, at the hour of 2 P.M.
that said meeting was duly called in accordance with the ByLaws of said
company , that each of the directors of said company had due notice of
the meeting , and that a quorum of said Board of Directors was present
and actin; at said meeting
That at said meeting the above resolution was adopted by the unan-
imous vote of all the directors present
That I was at the time and am now the Secretary of said corporation

THIS INDENTTIRE, made this first day of August, 1907,
by and between the
Hoene Investment
Company
of
Redlands, a
corporation, duly
organised under
the laws
of
California,
whose principal place of business is in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California,, party of the
first part, and the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation,
party of the second part;
WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part,
for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars 010.00),

valuable considerations, to
it
pain by
the party of

hereby
acknowledged,
does, by these presents, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and
confirm unto the said party of the second part, all that
certain real property situate in the City of Redlands, County
of San Bernardino, State of California, and bounded and

second preliminary map
of Redlands, as

recorded in

the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County;
thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot Two (2),
twenty-eight and forty-eight hundredths (28.48) feet; thence
Southeasterly six hundred ten (610) feet, to a point in the
North line of Cypress Avenue, distant, thirty-two and twelve
hundredths (32.12) feet, Easterly from the Westerly line of
said Lot Two (2) ; thence Westerly, along the Northerly line of
Cypress Avenue, to the Westerly line of said Lot Two (2); thence
Northwesterly along the Westerly line of said Lot Two (2), to
the point of beginning, containing forty -tiro hundredths (.42)
of an acre, more or leas.

by resolution of its Board of Directors, bath caused these
