We, the undersigned, E. C. Sterling and C. S. Sterling,
husband and wife, in consideration of One Dollar, and other
valuable considerations, the receipt tAiereof is hereby ac-
knowledged, grant to the City of Redlands, a municipal
corporation, situated in the County of San Bernardino, and
State of California, all that real property situate in the
City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of Cali-
fornia, bounded and described as follows. Beginnirg at a
point on the Easterly side of TAarian street, at a point
One hundred and eighty-three (183) feet South-easterly from
the corner bound at the North-west corner of said Sterling's
land, at the junction of Mariam street and Sixth avenue,
thence runnirg Northerly on a curve to the right with a
radius of Two hundred and seventy-six (276) feet, to the
Southerly side of Sixth avenue, at a point Sixty-two (62)
feet Easterly from the corner bound, above referred to,
thence from said Easterly line Westerly along the Southerly
side of Sixth avenue, Sixty-two (62) feet, to corner bound
at Sixth avenue and Marian street, thence southerly in a
straight line One hundred and. eighty-three (183) feet, along
the Easterly side of Marian street, to point of beginning.
