This Indenture, Made the Twenty-third (23rd) day of
March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety one
Between Mrs Helen A. Langs wife of
Major S. Langs of the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino State of California
the party of the first part,
and The City of Redlands in the County of San
Bernardino, State of California
the party of the second part,
Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of one Dollars,
lawful money of the United States of America, to him in hand
paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
HAs remised, released, and forever quitclaimed, and by these presents DOES remise,
release, and forever quitclaim, unto the said party of the second part, and to its
heirs and assigns, all that certain, piece or parcel or of land, situate, lying and
being in the City of Redlands County of San Bernardino,
State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows,
to wit: A strip of land Eight feet in width off of the
north east side of Lot one (1) of Block "P" of the
Second Preliminary Map of Redlands according to
the recorded map thereof in the office of the County
Recorder of said County of San Bernardino.
Said strip of land being described by notes and
bounds as follows: Beginning at the north
East corner of said Lot One (1) and running in
a southwesterly direction along the north-
western boundary line of said Lot for a distance
for a distance of eight feet (8 ft). Thence in a south-
easterly direction on a line parallel with the
north western boundary line of said lot to the south
Eastern boundary line of said lot; Thence in a
North easterly direction along the south eastern
boundary line of said Lot to the south east
corner of said lot; Thence in a north westerly
along the north eastern

unto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and also all the estate, right, title,
