This Indenture made this thirty-first
day of October A.D. 1890, Witnesseth:
That Curtis Wells of the City of
Redlands
of the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, for and in consideration of one
dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
Does revise, release, and forever quitclaim unto
The City of Redlands in the
aforesaid County of San Bernardino
State of California
All that real property situate in the City of Redlands County
San Bernardino State of California
bounded and described as follows: A strip of land Eight
(8) feet in width off of the Eastern (?)
south-west side of the north west one
half (1/2) of Lot 4 1/2 of Block H of the
Secod Preliminary map of Redlands of
seocond in the office of the County Recorder of
said County of San Bernardino, and more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the south west corner of said
north west half (N.W. 1/2) of Lot 4 1/2,
and running thence in a south-easterly
direction on a line parallel to the north
western boundary line of said Lot for
a distance of Eigth (8) feet; Thence in a
north westerly direction and parallel to the
south western boundary line of said lot
to the north western boundary line of
said lot; Thence in a south-westerly
direction along the said north-western
boundary line to the south west corner of
said lot; Thence south easterly along the
south western boundary line of said lot
tot eh place of beginning; and also, any
and all right, title and interest of
said party of the first part. The said
Curtis Wells in or to any herewithin (?) of
Center Street adjoining the said presenc-
ses (?).
WITNESS my hand this 31st dat of October

eight hundred and ninety, before me, s/Chas. P. Squires
a Notary Public in and for the said County re-
siding therein, duly commissioned and sworn
personally appeared

known to me to be the person described in and whose name is subscribed to
the within Instrument, and acknowledged to me that he executed the same.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my

at my office in the County of San Bernardino
