Bryant Deputy Recorder $1.90 Paid This Indenture, Made the Fifteenth day of  November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety Between Miss Carrie L. Allen (unmarried) of Spokane Falls, State of Washing- ton the party of the first part,  and The City of Redlands, in Coun- ty of San Bernardino, State of Califor- nia the party of the second part, Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the  sum of One Dollars,  lawful money of the United States of America, to her in hand  paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,  HAS granted, bargained and sold and by these presents DOes grant, bargain, and sell unto the said party of the second part, and to its (heirs is crossed out) and assigns forever, all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the said County of San Bernardino, State of California and bounded and particularly described as follows, to wit:- —  A strip of land Eight feet in width off of the north-east side of Lot one (1) of Block P, of the second Preliminary Map of Redlands, according to map thence of record in the office of the County Recorder of the said Coutny of San Bernardino, and which said strip of land is more particulary described as follows, to wit: Beginning at the north east corner of said Lot one (1) and run- ning thence in a south westerly direction along the north eastern boundary of Eight (8) feet; Thence in a south-easterly direc- tion in a line parallel with the north eastern boundary line of said lot to the south eastern boundary line of said lot; Thence in a north easterly direction along the south-eastern boundary line of said lot to the south east corner of said lot; thence is a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary line of said lot to the place of beginning. The strip of land hereby conveyed is to be used for sidewalk purposes. Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances there -  unto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder  and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof,  And Also, all the estate, right, title, interest, property,  possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said part of the first part, of, in and to the above-described premises, and every part and parcel  thereof, with the appurtenances. To have and to hold all and singular the above mentioned and described  premises, together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part,  its (heirs is crossed out) and assigns forever,  In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part has hereunto set  her hand and seal the day and year first above written.  Signed, Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of  s/Carrie L.
