This Indenture, Made the Sixth day of
April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine
Between H. A. Macpherson of
the City of Redlands, in San Bernardino
County, State of California
the party of the first part,
and the City of Redlands, in San
Bernardino County State of
California
the party of the second part,
Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars,
lawful money of the United States of America, to him in hand
paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
HAS granted, bargained and sold and by these
presents DOes grant bargain and sell unto the
said party of the second part, and to its heirs and assigns forever, all that
certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the said
City, County of San Bernardino State of California
and bounded and particularly described as follows, to wit:- —
Lot Ten (10) in Block seven (7) of the Chica-
go Colongy Addition to Redlands
according to the survey and plat
thereof on file in the Recording office
of said San Bernardino County, and
according to the Town Plat of Red-
lands of record in the office of the said Recorder of said County.
Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances there -
unto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof,
And Also, all the estate, right, title, interest and property,
possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said party
of the first part, of, in and to the above-described premises, and every part and parcel
thereof, with the appurtenances.
To have and to hold all and singular the above-mentioned and described
premises, together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part,
its heirs and assigns forever,
In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part has hereunto set
his and seal the day and year first above written.

hundred and eighty nine before me, JOHN B. CAMPBELL.
a Notary Public, in and for the said County of San Bernardino
residing therein, duly commissioned and sworn, personally appeared
H. A. Macpherson, who is personally
known to me to be the same person described and in whose name is subscribed
to and who executed the within instrument and he acknowledged to me that
he executed the same.
