For and in Consideration
of the sum of Five Dollars ($5) and other good and valuable considerations,
to me in hand paid J.G. Judson, of Redlands
San Bernardino County California,
Do hereby Grant, bargain and sell unto the City of Redlands
of the State of California
All that Real Property situated in the City of Redlands County of
San Bernardino, State of California,
bounded and described
as follows: Beginning at the junction of Citrus Avenue
and Cajon Street running thence East. Thirty-
six and six-thenths (36 6/10) feet to Orange Road,
Thence South Fifty-four and four-tenths (54 4/10)
feet to Cajon Street - Thence North-West Sixy-four
and three tenths (64 3/10) feet to place of beginning
of the Subdivisions of Block Twenty-Eight (28) of
Redlands - according to a map of same in
Recorders office, and on record in San Bernardino
County.
The above described property to be used
for public purposes, as a public fountain
and watering place - and in case the public ceases to use the same, it shall
revert to the former owners.
This deed is made under and by virtue
of the power conferred by deed from Ernest Waycott
S.L. Grow and W.F. Allison to the grantor hereof
dated April 13th 1887 and recorded in Vol 56 of
Deeds at pages 380 and 381, records of San Bernardino
County California and subject to conditions contained in said deed.
Witness my hand and seal, this Eleventh day of
November 1889.

On this thirteenth day of November in the year one thousand
eight hundred and eighty nine before me, John B. Campbell
a Notary Public (written over typed and lined out Justice of the Peace) in and for the said County of San Bernardino
personally appeared E. G. Judson, who is personally
known to me to be the same person described in, whose name is subscribed who
executed the within instrument, and he acknowledged to me that he executed
the same.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, at my office
in the said County of San Bernardino, the day and year in this Certificate first above written.
