I - Louis Jacobs, for and in consideration of the
acceptance and use by the second party herein of the
premises hereinafter described as part of the public street
known as Center St. and the benefits to accrue to me from
such use by said second party
Do Grant to the City of Redlands, in San Bernardino
County, California,
All that real property situate in the City of Redlands, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, bounded and described
as follows: a strip eight (8) feet, in width,
off of the southwesterly side of lot five and
one half (5 1/2), in Block I, Redlands survey,
according to plat thereof on record in the
County Recorder's Office in and for
San Bernardino County, California. Said
strip being that next adjoining the north-
easterly line of Center Street and said
strip is parallel with Center Street.
The object of this deed is to widen the
northeasterly half of Center Street from
thirty (30) feet to thirty-eight (38) feet.
WITNESS my hand this 10th day of June,
A.D. 1889.
