CONSENT CALENDAR
Minutes - On motion of Councilmembei Gilbreath, seconded by
Councilmembei Gil, the minutes of the regular meeting of June 19, 2007, and
the special meeting of June 27, 2007, were approved as submitted
Ordinance No. 2667 - Personnel System - Ordinance No 2667, an ordinance of
the City of Redlands amending Chaptei 2 56 of the Redlands Municipal Code
relating to the City's personnel system by exempting the position of Assistant
City Manager from the City's personnel system, was unanimously adopted on
motion of Councilmembei Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil
Agi cements - Security and Fire Alai m Services - On motion of
Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Gil, the City
Council unanimously approved agreements with Pacific Alarm, Inc for
security and fire alai m sei vices at various City facilities and authorized the
City Manager to execute the documents on behalf of the City
Agreement - Eaily Service Retirement - Acting Administrative Services
Director Kundig said that during the 2007-08 budget process and financial
planning team meetings, potential cost saving ideas for the City were discussed
including whether 01 not savings could be achieved by offering an incentive for
early retirement Michael Corbett, an officer in the Redlands Police
Department, who would be eligible for lifetime medical benefits on March 15,
