(the*contractor). ARTICLE I. The foregoing documents are complementary and anything required by or called for In one of said documents shall be bind- Ing as If it were called for or required by all of the documents. Should there be any conflict be- tween the terms of this form and the Bid or Proposal of said contractor, then this Instrument shall control and nothing herein shall be considered as an acceptance of any term of said proposal con- flicting herewith. Any alteration or alterations made In this contract, in the work to be done thereunder, or any pan thereof, shall not operate to release any surety from liability on any bond given pursuant to the provisions of this contract, and the consent-of such surety to such alteration or alterations Is hereby given.
