HomeMy WebLinkAbout8061RESOLUTION NO 8061 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE EXPIRATION DATE FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO 1056 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FOUR-STORY HOTEL LOCATED AT 1342 INDUSTRIAL PARK AVENUE (APN 0169-343-09-0000) WHEREAS, Gayatree Patel has submitted an application foi a one-year extension of time for Conditional Use Permit No 1056 foi the construction of a new hotel located at 1342 Industrial Palk Avenue (APN 0169-343-09-0000) in the General Commercial (EV/CG) District of the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan (the "Pioject"), and WHEREAS, extension of the expiation date for a conditional use permit is permitted in accordance with Redlands Municipal Code Section 18 192 090, and WHEREAS, Mi Patel intends to develop the Project, and requests an extension of time to continue to secure financing foi his Project, and WHEREAS, Section 15162(a) of the California Environmental Quahty Act Guidelines provides that no further environmental analysis is required if a project meets all criteria contained in Section 15162(a), NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows Section I Cahfornia Environmental Quahty Act The proposed one-yeai extension of time meets all criteria contained i1 Section 15162(a) of the Cahforma Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, and the proposed extension of time does not require additional environmental analysis, based on the following findings A The proposed extension of time would not result m new significant environmental effects or a substantial increase in the severity ofpreviously identified effects because the Project has not changed and remains within the scope of the environmental analysis and Mitigation Montormg Program adopted for the Project, B No substantial changes have occurred with respect to the encumstances under which the project will be undertaken because the Pioject would be constructed in accordance with the Mitigation Momtoring/Reporting Program adopted for the Project, and, C There is no new information of substantial importance with respect to the Project's environmental consequences that was not known at the time the previous Mitigated Negative Declaration was adopted as no new information of substantial importance has come to light since adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration Section 2 Extension Of Time Approved The proposed one -yeas extension oftune for Conditional Use Permit No 1056 is hereby approved in accordance with Redlands Municipal Code Sections 18 192 090 1 1 1Resolutions\Res 8000 8099/8061 Resolution CUP 1056 Tune Rxtenston.doc Section 3.
