This first amendment (`"First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of
professional financial services to complete a water, wastewater and recycled/non-potable water
rate study ( `Agreement") dated March 5, 2019, by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal
corporation ("City"), and Raftehs Financial Consultants, Inc ("Consultant"), is made and entered
into this 3' day of March, 2020
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend Article 3 2 of then existing
Agreement to change the name of City's representative from former representative Paul Toor, to
the current representative, the Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department Director, and
WHEREAS, it is also the desire of City and Consultant to amend Article 4 2 of their
existing Agreement to extend the date for termination of the Services to March 4, 2021,
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1 Section 3 2 of the Agreement, entitled "Responsibilities of City," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"3 2 City designates its Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department Directoi as
City's representative with respect to performance of the Services, and such person shall have the
authority to transmit instructions, receives information interpret and define City's policies and
decisions with respect to performance of the Services "
Section 2. Section 4 2 of the Agreement, titled "Performance of Services," is hereby
amended to read as follows
"4 2 The term of this Agreement shall commence on its Effective Date and shall
terminate on March 4, 2021, unless terminated earlier as provided herein "
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agieement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect
