A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
APPROVING PRE -ANNEXATION AGREEMENT NO 19-03, RELATED TO
OUTSIDE CITY UTILITY CONNECTIONS FOR WATER SERVICE FOR A
5,602 SQUARE -FOOT SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING LOCATED AT 30765
EASTBERN LANE IN THE UNINCORPORATED COMMUNITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTY
WHEREAS, on September 9, 2019, Matt Brudi n filed an application for Outside City
Case No 19-01 and Pie -Annexation No 19-03 with the City for outside City utility connections
for a 5,602 square -foot single-family residence on a 1 20 acre parcel (APN 0299-361-03-0000)
located at 30765 Eastbem Lane in the unincorporated community of San Bernardino County, and
WHEREAS, on October 15, 2019, the City Council found that Outside City Case No 19-
01 was consistent with the City's Geneial Plan and determined the public health, safety, welfare
of the residents of Redlands would be served by the City's continued processing of the Outside
City Case application, and directed staff to prepare a Pi e -Annexation Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the subject property's land use designation m the 2035 General Plan is Very
Low Density Residential (0-2 7 units pen gross acre), and the pioposed project is consistent with
the 2035 Geneial Plan land use designation, and
WHEREAS, approval of the Pie -Annexation agreement is exempt from envuoninental
review under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Sections 15319
(Annexations of Existing Facilities and Lots for Exempt Facilities) and 15303 (New
Construction of Small Structures) of the CEQA Guidelines,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 The City Council hereby determines that appioval of this Resolution is
exempt from review undei the CEQA pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Sections 15319 and
15303 pertaining to certain annexation projects and new construction of small structuies
Section 2 The City Council hereby approves Pie -Annexation No 19-03 for the
provision of water service for the development of a single-family residence located at 30765
Eastbern Lane in the unincorporated community of San Bernardino County
