Sam: Attached is a copy of a "letter agreement" from Best Best & Krieger, LLP, special
counsel for the City, which the firm occasionally uses to document its agreement to assist the
City regarding special one-time matters such, as this employee benefit matter. Please place this
"letter agreement" in the file containing our Special Services Agreements with outside counsel,
which is currently being maintained by the Clerk's office. Should you have any questions,
