corporation, party of the first part, and the CI'T'Y 01F a municipal corporation,

THA!P t Tl the said parties entered into a certain agreement dated November 9,
1922, whereby said Southern California Edison Co,,apany granted to said second parties a liceas,
and per.mission to use certain lands owned by the first party in the, County of San 3, ernardino,
State of California, Northeasterly of the City of Redlands, along what is known as Mill Creek
and between those certain power houses owned and operated by first party, known as kl'ill Creek
Power House No. 1 and 11ill, Creek Power Houses No. 2 and No. 3, which lands are particularly
described in said agreement, for a period of ten (10) years from September 15, 1922, to
September 15, 1932, for the purposes of diverting the flood waters of LAU Creek and spreadinj
such waters over and upon the above mentioned lands, and for certain other purposes in
connectioa, therewith, as provided for and specified in said agreement, upon and subject to
certain terms, covenants and conditions therein set forth, and

executed by said parties, said agreement dated No'verber 9, 1922, was renewed and extended
for the further term of ten (10) years, from the 15th day of September, 1932, to the 15th
day of September, 1942, and
fk the parties hereto desira to again renew and extend said agreement for
the furthez term of ten (10) years, from Se-pltember 15, 1942, upon and subject to all the
terms, Covenants ,,.nd conditions contained in said agreement,

again renew and extend said agreement, and that the license and privileges thereby granted,
for the further term of ten (10) years, from the 15th day of 3eptember, 1942 to the 15th
day of September, 1952, upon and subject to all the terns, covenants and conditions set
forth 'in said agreement dated November 9, 1922, which terns, covenants and conditions the
parties of the second part, jointly and severally, agree to comply with and perform.
In accordance with the to of said agreement, the said parties of the second
part agree to pay to said party of the first part the sum of Ten Dollars (�10.00) per year,
in advance, on the 15th day of September of each year of said extended terra.

duplicate as of the day and year herein first above written.
