HomeMy WebLinkAbout7845RESOLUTION NO 7845 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING A CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPEDITED REVIEW OF ELECTRICAL VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS WHEREAS, Government Code section 65850 7 requires all cities within the State to adopt procedures for the administrative review, on an expedited basis, of applications for electric vehicle charging stations, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has adopted Ordinance No 2869 establishing an administrative process for the expedited review of electric vehicle charging stations by the City's Chief Buildmg Official, and WHEREAS, Government Code section 65850 7 further requires the City to adopt a checklist of all requirements with which an electric vehicle charging station shall comply to satisfy the City's expedited review process, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS Sectionl The "Checklist of Requirements for Expedited Review of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations," which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A," is hereby adopted Section 2 The checklist and all required permitting documentation for the expedited review of electric vehicle charging stations shall be published on the City's publicly available website, and such documentation may be submitted to the City by an apphcant using an electronic signature for the applicant ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of June, 2018 ATTEST Donaldson, City Clerk (3u Paul W Foster, Mayor 1 11Resoluhons\R.es 7800-789917845 Checklist for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.docx I, Jeanne Donaldson, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of June, 2018, by the following vote AYES Councilmembers Mayor Pro Tem Barich, Tejeda, Momberger, James, Mayor Foster NOES.
