BIJEERMANN }}tt�� PART CHIEF OF POLICE DE - TO: BUILDING A GENERATION AMERICORPS PROGRAM FROM: DEPUTY CHIEF HYMAN REDLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT—RECREATION BUREAU MEMO: MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING DATE: OCTOBER 21,2043 The Redlands Police Department--Recreation Bureau will be partnering with Building a Generation on the AmeriCorps grant for 2003-2044. As part of the partnership we will have a total of six AmeriCorps Members and will be providing a total cash value of $17,790. We understand that we will be responsible for sending in a monthly amount to Building a Generation by the 15th of each month to cover the costs for our AmeriCorps members. We also will be providing regular site supervision for our AmeriCorps members, trainings, space and supplies as needed for the grant. Our organization will work with the AmeriCorps Director and Coordinator to provide regular evaluation statistics and updates as needed. Building a Generation will be responsible for providing a regular stipend to the AmeriCorps Members placed at our site, which will cover their general liability. Building a Generation will also be providing the overall grant administration and management, and our organization will be meeting regularly with the BAG AmeriCorps Director andlor Coordinator to supervise, manage, and provide overall leadership and training as needed.
