This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of temporary
labor services dated June 6, 2017 ("Agreement"), by and between the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation ("City") and Ultimate Staffing Services, a division of Roth Staffing
Companies, L P ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 2nd day of June, 2020
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
amend Exhibit "A," to clarify requirements for drug screening and testing, and
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1 The scope of work to be performed by Consultant pursuant to Exhibit "A"
of the Agreement is hereby amended by the modification of the following services
"Background and Drug Screens Ultimate Staffmg agrees to a background check for all
temporary employees pre -assignment at no additional cost Additional screenmg can be done at an
additional cost Ultimate Staffing temporary employees are subject to drug testmg if there is
reasonable suspicion that the temporary employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol "
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and m effect
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of June 7, 2020
