A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER/DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY
SERVICES, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS,
CERTIFICATIONS AND OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE FOR RECEIPT OF
CARES ACT CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUNDING
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is ehgible to receive an allocation of CARES Act
Coronavirus Relief Funding through the State of Califorma Department of Finance, and
WHEREAS, on June 30, 2020, the State of California Department of Finance issued an
application for cities to receive their direct allocation from the approved $500 million of city
CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funding, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands desires to apply for receipt of its
direct allocation from the State of California Department of Finance, and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands wishes to delegate authorization to execute
agreements, certifications and other related documents with the State of California Department
of Finance m order for the City to receive its allocation of Coronavirus Relief Funding, and
WHEREAS, execution of agreements, certifications and other related documents for
receipt of Coronavirus Relief Funding is not subject to environmental review m accordance with
Section 15061(b)(3) of the State Guidelines implementing the California Environmental Quality
Act,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 The City Council authorizes and designates the City Manager/Director of
Emergency Services, or his designee, to execute all agreements, certifications and other related
documents with the State of California Department of Finance for the City's allocation of
Coronavirus Relief Funding
