the operation of a company that it cannot receive any benefit from. On
motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember
Cunningham, the City Council unanimously directed the Municipal Utilities
Department to take the necessary steps to divest the City of Redlands of
ownership in the Judson Mutual Well Company,
Grant Deed - California Street Landfill - On motion of Councilmember
Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Cunningham, the City Council
unanimously authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a grant deed
with the San Bernardino County Flood Control District to finalize the north
lot line adjustment for the California Street Landfill in accordance with the
conditions set forth by the Planning Commission for Lot Line Adjustment
No. 323. This will complete a process which was initiated to resolve
encroachment issues in 1992.
Funds Agreement Wabash Avenue Groundwater Recharge Facility - On
motion of Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember
Cunningham, the City Council unanimously approved an agreement with the
consulting firm of Krieger & Stewart to provide engineering and design
services for the construction of the Wabash Avenue Groundwater Recharge
Facility and authorized an additional appropriation in the amount of
$25,000.00 to fund the project.
Funds - Colton Avenue Storm Drain - Following discussion, Councilmember
Cunningham moved to approve the preparation of an additional appropriation
of $100,000.00 from the Storm Drain Fund (29) to fund water line relocations
required for the Colton Avenue and Judson Street Storm Drain Project; and
further authorized the Municipal Utilities staff to award bids for waterline
relocation, installation, and materials, not to exceed $100,000.00. Motion
seconded by Councilmember Larson and carried unanimously.
Hinckley Water Treatment Plant - On motion of Councilmember Gilbreath,
seconded by Councilmember Cunningham, the City Council unanimously
acknowledged receipt of a report of the status of the emergency repairs at the
Horace Hinckley Water Treatment Plant in accordance with the provisions of
Resolution No. 5260. total cost to date is $51,107.75. The Municipal
Utilities Department will continue to provide the status of the project to the
City Council at their regular meetings until testing is completed and the
system is verified.
Funds Agreement - 2100' Zone Water Distribution System - On motion of
Councilmember Gilbreath, seconded by Councilmember Cunningham, the
City Council unanimously approved an agreement with the firm of Krieger &
