This FIRST AMENDMENT TO SHOPPING CENTER LEASE ("Amendment") is entered into this
10th day of May, 1999, by and between LIDO Partners V, L.P., a
("Landlord"), and City of Redlands Police Department ( "Tenant") California limited partnership,
RECITALS
A. Landlord and Tenant are parties to that certain Shopping Center Lease dated July 12, 1995
(the "Lease"), pursuant to which Tenant leases from Landlord those certain premises
commonly known as 1568 North Orange Street, Redlands, California (the "Premises").
B. Landlord and Tenant desire to amend the Lease in order to extend the Term of the Lease,
and modify certain other terms of the Lease.
C. Terms which are not defined in this Amendment have the same meanings given to them in the
Lease.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the mutual covenants and agreements
contained in this Amendment, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and
sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Landlord and Tenant agree as follows:
1. Term Extension. The term of Tenant's lease shall be extended and such extended term
shall commence on July 1, 1999, and shall continue for a period of five years ending on
June 30, 2004 (the "Extended Term").
2. Premises. Effective June 1, 1999, the Section 2 Demised Premises of the Lease is
deleted in its entirety and replaced with:
Landlord hereby leases to Tenant and Tenant hereby leases from Landlord that
certain space (hereinafter called "Premises") known as 1568 North Orange Street
containing approximately 1,400 square feet of floor area. Location of the Premises
is delineated in Exhibit A (Site Plan) which has been improved in accordance with
Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. Said Premises is
located in a Shopping Center ("Shopping Center") commonly referred to as North
Redlands Center, located in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino and
State of California,
3. No Other Modifications Landlord and Tenant agree that, except as specifically modified
in this Amendment, the Lease remains in full force and effect between the parties hereto,
as modified by this Amendment. To the extent of any inconsistency or conflict betwe

the terms and conditions of the Lease and the terms and conditions of this Amendment,
the terms and conditions of this Amendment shall prevail and control.
4. Effective Date. This Amendment shall become effective on the first day of the month
fallowing the execution hereof by Landlord and Tenant ("Effective Date").
