A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS ESTABLISHING AND ADOPTING A SIX-YEAR LOCAL
STREET CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in November, 1989. the Voters of San Bernardino County approved passage
of Measure I, 1990-2010, and in November 2004, subsequently re -approved Measure 1 2010-
2040, authonzing the San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Bernardino
County Cransportation Authority (the "Authority"), to impose a one -halt of one percent retail
transactions and use tax (the "Tax") applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory
of the County of San Bernardino, and
WHEREAS, revenue from the Tax may only be used for transportation improvement and
traffic management programs authorized in the expenditure plans set forth in Ordinance No 89-1
of the Authority, and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No 89-1 of the Authority require that
each local jurisdiction receiving revenue from the Tax expend that revenue pursuant to a Capital
Improvement Program adopted by resolution of such local junsdiction, and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No 89-1 of the Authonty also require
that each local jurisdiction annually adopt and update its Capital Improvement Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands,
hereby establishes and adopts the City's Measure I Six -Year Capital Improvement Program, a
copy of which is attached to this resolution as Exhibit "A "
