A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO 2009-3-A TO THE REDLANDS GENERAL
PLAN AS THE CITY'S THIRD CYCLE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2009
WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code section 65353, the Planning Commission
of the City of Redlands, at a duly notified public hearing, has reviewed proposed amendment number
2009-3-A to the Redlands General Plan and made a written recommendation for adoption of that
amendment to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, notice of this City Council's public heanng for General Plan amendment
No 2009-3-A was published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the Redlands City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, following the public hearing on the proposed amendment, at which this City
Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of the
proposed amendment is in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that
the following third cycle amendment for the calendar year 2009 to Redlands' General Plan be
adopted
Section 1 The General Plan Land Use Map is hereby amended to change the Land Use
Designation of approximately 0 60 acres located at the northwest corner of State Street and Texas
Street designated as County of San Bernardino County Assessor's Parcel Nos 0171-171-26, 0171-
171-08, and 0171-171-27 from Office to Commercial as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1st day of September, 2009
