Home My WebLink About6928RESOLUTION NO 6928 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CONCEPT PLAN NO 1 BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE PLAN WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands reviewed and recommended approval of Amendment No 5 to Concept Plan No 1 of the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan (the "Entitlement"), relating to a revision to the Land Use Plan, to the City Council after holding a public hearing on February 23, 2010 in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, on March 3, 2010, a notice of public hearing for the Entitlement was published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the City Clerk, and WHEREAS, on March 16, 2010, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed Entitlement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows Section 1 Approval of the Entitlement requires no environmental review pursuant to Section 15162 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines because the City Council finds that a subsequent Negative Declaration is not warranted based on the following definitions 1 Approval of the Entitlement would not result in new significant environmental effects or a substantial increase in the severity of previously identified effects, identified in the mitigation Negative Declaration for the project that encompasses the Exhibit, 2 No substantial changes have occurred with respect to the circumstances under which the project that encompasses the Entitlement will be undertaken, and, 3 There is no new information of substantial importance with respect to the environmental consequences of the Entitlement that was not known at the time the previous Mitigated Negative Declaration was adopted for the project that encompasses Entitlement Section 2.
