HomeMy WebLinkAbout6989RESOLUTION NO 6989 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING THE MEASURE I i 1VL-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2010/2015 AND EXPENDITURE STRATEGY WHEREAS, the voters of San Bernardino County approved passage of Measure I in November 2004 authorizing the San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (the "Authority ), to impose a one half of one percent retail transactions and use tax (the "Tax') applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino, and WHEREAS, revenue from the Tax may only be used for transportation improvement and traffic management programs authorized in the expenditure plans set forth in Ordinance No 04-1 of the Authority, and WHEREAS, the Authority's strategic plan requires that each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt and update a Five Year Capital Project Needs Analysis, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands hereby adopts the Authonty's Measure I Five -Year Capital Improvement Plan 2010/2015 and Expenditure Strategy, a copy of which is attached to this resolution as Exhibit "A " ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 7th day of September, 2010 ATTEST Sam Irwin City Clef Pat Gilbreath, Mayor 1 I, Sam Irwin, No 6989 was of September, AYES NOES ABSTAIN ABSENT City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 7th day 2010, by the following vote Councilmembers Harrison, Aguilar, Mayor Gilbreath None Councilmembers Bean, Gallagher None Sam Irwin, City Clerk 2 Exhibit 'A' VALLEY SUBAREA CITY/TOWN/COUNTY MEASURE I CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2010/2015 EXPENDITURE STRATEGY Local Street Program (LSP) Measure !
