A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING THE MEASURE I i 1VL-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN 2010/2015
AND EXPENDITURE STRATEGY
WHEREAS, the voters of San Bernardino County approved passage of Measure I in
November 2004 authorizing the San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San
Bernardino County Transportation Authority (the "Authority ), to impose a one half of one
percent retail transactions and use tax (the "Tax') applicable in the incorporated and
unincorporated territory of the County of San Bernardino, and
WHEREAS, revenue from the Tax may only be used for transportation improvement and
traffic management programs authorized in the expenditure plans set forth in Ordinance
No 04-1 of the Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Authority's strategic plan requires that each local jurisdiction applying
for revenue from the Valley Major Street and Freeway Interchange Programs to annually adopt
and update a Five Year Capital Project Needs Analysis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby adopts the Authonty's Measure I Five -Year Capital Improvement Plan 2010/2015 and
Expenditure Strategy, a copy of which is attached to this resolution as Exhibit "A "
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 7th day of September, 2010

EXPENDITURE STRATEGY
Local Street Program (LSP) Measure ! Local Streets revenues will be used by the
City of Redlands for a variety of transportation related projects,
roadways traffic signals and roadway maintenance projects It is the
