TRANSPORT ATION PLAN AND AN AMENDMENT 1 0 i HE
EAS I SAN BERNARDiNO 1'AL[ EY C11 IES AREA TRAILS MAP
WHEREAS, the San Bernardino County Non -Motorized Transportation Plan (the Plan") is a
County bicycle master plan which is designed to encourage the completion of a comprehensive
County -wide bikeway network, refine the way bicycle projects in the County are funded, help
cities identify, prioritize and fund portions of the County -wide bicycle nem oik, and implement
new programs scheduled to begin during the .-10 year hfe of the plan, and
WHEREAS, at the local level, three options emst loi a local agency to create and adopt a
bicycle master plan, and from those options, the City Council of the City of Redlands has chosen
to adopt the County -wide Plan with a specific amendment to make the Plan compatible with
existing and proposed tiails that will serve the Redlands community,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby adopts the San Bernardino County Non -Motorized Transportation Plan, with an
amendment Nvhrch iesults in the City of Redlands trails map attached hereto as Exhibit "A," of
the Plan's East San Bernardino Valley Cities Area trails map
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 16`h day of Septembc i, 2008
