A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SETTING PRIORITIES FOR FILING A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING
A CITY MEASURE REGARDING A BUSINESS LICENSE TAX FOR
WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION BUSINESSES
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of Redlands on
Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at which time there will be submitted to the voters the following
measure
"Shall Ordinance No 2664 be adopted to establish a business license tax for
warehouse and distribution businesses located within the City for the purpose of
raising revenue to defray the costs of providing City services and supplement the
City's General Fund"
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does
resolve, declare, determine and order as follows
SECTION ONE That the City Council authorizes
Jon Harrison
Pat Gilbreath
Mick Gallagher
(Councilmember in Favor/Agarst)
(Councilmember in Favor/ gaau $
(Councilmember in Favor/4g t
(Councilmember in Favor/Against)
(Councilmember in Favor/Against)
members of that body, to file a written argument regarding the City measure as specified above
accompanied by the printed names and signatures of the authorizing submitting it in accordance
with the California Elections Code and to change the argument until and including the date fixed
by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against the City measure may be submitted to
the City Clerk

was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of
August, 2007, by the following vote
