A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS ESTABLISHING LOCATIONS FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF KIOSK SIGNS
Whereas, on March 6, 2007, the City Council of the City of Redlands approved an
agreement with Inland Directional Sign for the design, maintenance and management of
real estate kiosk signs, and
Whereas, section 12 55 080 of the Redlands Municipal Code provides that kiosk
signs may be located only on City property in areas designated by resolution of this City
Council, and
Whereas City staff has undertaken a careful and comprehensive review of the
City's public nghts-of-way and has prepared a map providing locations for kiosk signs
taking into account visual aesthetics of the City, the location of proposed new
development, traffic circulation patterns and other factors, to best protect the health,
safety and welfare of Redlands' citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands as follows
Section 1 Pursuant to section 12 55 080 of the Redlands Municipal Code, the
City Council of the City of Redlands hereby approves the location of real estate kiosk
signs in the areas designated on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A "
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of May, 2007
