This First Amendment to Agreement is made and entered into this 2nd day of August 2005, by
and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City") and Chambers Group, Inc.
("Consultant"),
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2004, the City and Consultant entered into an agreement entitled
"Agreement For The Preparation Of An Environmental Impact Report And Association Documents For
The Entitlement Applications Commonly Known As The Walton Project" (the "Agreement") which
described the scope of work which Consultant would undertake for City for the total compensation of
$54,960.00 in connection with the necessary environmental review for Agricultural Preserve Removal
No. 104, Zone Change No. 396, Conditional Use Permit No. 809, Tentative Tract No. 16465,
Demolition No.79,Agricultural Preserve Removal No. 105,Zone Change No.399,Conditional Use
Permit No. 819, and Tentative Tract No. 16627, and
WHEREAS, the City has also determined that additional work is required to amend the Scope
of Work for the Environmental Impact Report(EIR) to incorporate more detailed work with regard to
concerns regarding the proximity of the airport, and noise and safety issues, etc.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the City of
Redlands and Chambers Group, Inc. hereby agree as follows:
Section 1. Section 5.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended to increase the compensation to be
paid by City to Consultant by the amount of$3,700.00 for a total compensation of$58,660.00 including
the amount expended in the original contract approved June 15,2004.
Section 2. Exhibit "A" of the Agreement which describes the extent of Consultant's Services
is hereby amended to include revisions to the EIR to reflect the revisions, the details of which are
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
