AGREEMENT
(Covenant Running With The Land)
THIS COVENANT, dated the 15th day of \Iov 1978
is made and entered by and between THE CITY OF REDLANDS, hereinafter
called "CITY" , and DAVID WEISZ AND MARGARET WEISZ husband and wife
hereinafter called "OWNER" , as a Covenant Running with The Land.
Recitals
1. Owner owns the real property situate in the County of
San Bernardino, State of California, described on Exhibit A attached
hereto, and incorporated as a part of this covenant, and hereinafter
referred to as "property" .
2. Owner desires to obtain a domestic family dwelling water
connection to the Redlands Domestic Water System.
FOR IIND IN CONSIDERATION of the covenant containe-d 1)erein
the City and the Owner agree as follows:
1. That Owner may make a connection to the Redlands Domestic
Water System for a domestic family dwelling subject to the terms,
conditions, and requirements of all ordinances, resolutions, rules,
and rates adopted by the City, and performance by Owner of the
covenants herein.
2 . That Owner shall annex property to the City of Redlands
no later than 120 days after the City makes a written request for
such annexation by personal delivery to Owner or by registered letter,
deposited at a United States Post Office, bearing the following

3 . That Owner shall be charged and pay twice the water rates
established by City ordinance or resolution for service to properties
situate outside City upon Owner' s failure to consent to annexation
of property no later than 120 days after the request to do so.
The rates which shall be doubled in the event of Owner ' s refusal
to annex shall be the outside rates in effect on the 121st day
after the City' s request for annexation.
4. That this covenant shall be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, a covenant running
with the land described herein, which covenant shall obligate and
be binding upon Owner , his assigns , transferees, executors , trustees ,
and every other successor in interest.

All that certain real property located in the unincorporated area of San
Bernardino County, State of California, described as follows :
Parcel No. 1 :
That portion of the North 112 of Lot 8, Block 11 of the STRETCH MAP OF MENTONE,
as per plat recorded in Book 8 of Maps, page 81 , records of said County, described
as follows :
COMMENCING at the intersection of the North line of said Lot 8, Block 11 of said
STRETCH MAP, and the center line of Crafton Avenue; thence South along said center
line, 67.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence East parallel to the North line
of said Lot 8, 175.00 feet; thence South parallel to the center line of Grafton
Avenue, 85.00 feet, thence West, parallel to said North line of Lot 8., 175.00 feet;
thence North along said centerline, 85.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West 40.00 feet for Grafton Avenue.

The North 112 of Lot 8, Block 11 of STRETCH MAP OF MENTONE, as per plat recorded
in Book 8 of Maps , page 81 , records of said County.
SAVING AND EXCEPTING therefrom the East 70 feet thereof.
ALSO SAVING AND EXCEPTING therefrom the South 85 feet of the North 152 feet of the
East 135 feet of the West i75 feet thereof.
AREAS AND DISTANCES of the above described property are computed to the
center of adjoining streets and roads.
