HomeMy WebLinkAbout6435RESOLUTION NO 6435 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ADOPTING PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO 2005-3-A TO THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN AS THE CITY'S THIRD CYCLE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2005 WHEREAS, in accordance with Government Code section 65353, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands has reviewed the proposed amendment number 2005- 3-A to the Redlands General Plan and made a written recommendation for adoption of such amendment to the City Council after holding a noticed public hearing, and WHEREAS, notice of this City Council's public hearing for the proposed amendment was duly published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the Redlands City Clerk, and WHEREAS, following a public hearing on the proposed amendment, at which this City Council provided opportunity for public testimony, the City Council determined that adoption of the proposed amendment is in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the following third cycle amendment for the calendar year 2005 to the Redlands' General Plan be adopted Section 1 Amendment No 2005-3-A The General Plan land use designation for approximately 6 73 acres of property identified as Assessor's Parcel No 0297-121-07 is hereby changed from "Agriculture" to "Light Industrial," and the General Plan land use designation for approximately 8 90 acres identified as Assessor's Parcel Nos 0297-121-10 and 11 is hereby changed from "Agriculture" to "Commercial Industrial," as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
